Established in 1978 by Syed Manzoor Shah Hamdani, Qamar-ul-Islam Hospital (QIH) has evolved from a small polyclinic to a notable charitable hospital in Khayaban-e-Jami, DHA/Clifton, Karachi. The late Syed Manzoor Shah Hamdani (1933-2019) was a renowned social reformer, humanitarian, and philanthropist. His contributions to health and education sectors significantly impacted the lives of many. Under his leadership, QIH became known for its free medical camps in rural Pakistan and for attracting the city’s top doctors to serve the deprived.
